6 months have passed since our successful soccer tournament that raised funds for the inaugural soccer program at PS242. We are holding a soccer clinic on 11/11 at 11am at PS242 in the Bronx for all its students to celebrate their new equipment. Joining the IN NYC committee will be the members of the Felician College Men’s Soccer Team, NJ. They have volunteered to coach the event along with providing priceless advice to the students on how the combination of sport and education can provide positive opportunities, promote a healthy lifestyle, in addition to teaching life lessons.

The challenge has been set, IN NYC vs Breton NY soccer match. This annual game has become a tradition between the two Networks in recent years with us coming out victorious in last Novembers game 1-0, leaving the series currently tied up at 1-1. Obviously a watering hole will be chosen afterwards for the two teams to have some banter, breakdown the games turning points and hopefully us enjoying our win!!! So come out and support your team either by playing or cheering, all are strongly encouraged to attend.
