Irish Arts Center in association with IN-NYC presents
AN EVENING WITH Author David J. Lynch
Date: Thursday, February 17, 2011

Time: 7:30pm
Venue: Donaghy Theatre, Irish Arts Center, 553 West 51st St (btw 10th and 11th Ave)

Join us for a discussion followed by a reception with author and veteran journalist David J. Lynch, as he discusses the astonishing rise of the Irish boom and how it went bust.
In his insightful, character-driven narrative of his new publication, When the Luck of the Irish Ran Out, Lynch draws upon the cultural, social and economic history of Ireland, chronicling a nation’s downfall through the lived experience of its citizens: the public officials and bankers responsible for the current crisis as well as the ordinary men and women enduring it, and offers a vision of how the Celtic Tiger can rise again.

Food and wine reception will take place after event
